The Bridger family recently went on our first camping trip as a family – even Dazy tagged along. Boy do dogs take up a lot of space in the car! Anyhow, the nights were cool but the days were warm. I thought it would be really cool (pardon the pun) if our cooler was able to detect the cool night air, and if the outside air is cooler than the inside air it could open a hatch or something to allow the cool air in. Once the outside air warmed up the hatch could close, keeping the cool air in. Basically the cooler would always try to stay cool, using the environment’s air when needed. Naturally this requires power, so you could put a rechargeable battery in it, maybe even with solar panels to recharge during the day. Don’t want to put your cooler in the sun all day? make it reflective rather than absorbing of heat and sun.
I’ve got it all figured out!
